Is it worth it to try to find newer drivers for the Intel Sata, Asmedia Sata, and Chipset drivers elsewhere? Since Asus doesn't really update them anymore being an older motherboard and all.

Maximus Gene VII BIOS 2304 vs 2601

Other than the obvious (bios number) what's the difference? I know 2304 was removed from their website, but before they did that it appeared to have the same information as version 2601. So do i upgrade or not?
