Nvidia GTX 570 + Physx card

Hello I have the M4E-Z and currently have the GTX 570 in PCIE 1. I want to add a second card for Physx but was wondering what the best slot config for this setup would be. Thanks for any suggestions.

special shutdown procedure?

My USB peripherals stay "on" (their lights are on) even when my system is off, so long as the PSU is plugged into the wall and switched on.Should I power down the PSU (turn off its switch) whenever I shut down the system?
