Background Static Noise in Microphone

Recently while randomly deciding to test the sound quality of my microphone, I heard a static noise throughout the recording and it is very annoying. I know it is not a problem with the mic because I do not have this problem on other computers. My motherboard is a Maximus VII Hero with SupremeFX Audio if that helps. I have tried using front and rear audio with the same result. I have tried using a different mic but still have the same result. I have tried messing with the SupremeFX settings and still have the same result.
I do not have this problem when I use my mic on a different computer, so I am convinced it is some sort of issue with my particular setup and I am out of ideas to try. Please help!

Are you running Windows 10? Was having the same issue, I uninstalled the Realtek audio driver and installed the latest Realtek driver from the VII support page. It fixed my mic issue but the front panel audio does not detect headphone impedance and is unable to amplify them.

You will get noise if Mic boost is maxed out. If so, turn it down at least one notch. You will also get noise if your computer is not properly grounded. So make sure it's wired properly. Noise can also come from other equipment in your computer or connected to your computer. So you can also try disconnecting any external equipment as a start. Then if everything else fails you need to start disconnecting internal stuff. And last but not least, could be a defect on your motherboard that's causing this.
