b450-f motherboardB450 and G.skillz Tridentz rgb ram not lighting up

Hello I have a B450-f strix on the 2008 bios

2 x 8 g.skillz tridentz rgb 3200


windows 10 pro latest build


I cant get the ram to light up. Currently Aura is not working and is quitting on me "Aura has stopped working".

I also cant get the G.skillz app to work
any suggestions? rma the ram?

Clear the machine and registry off everything with "Aura" and "Lightning" 🙂

okay but I'm getting a "cant find any g.skill ram rgb on your system.

Yes, I know. Had the same after uninstalling the Lightning Software. I was unable to install again. It was ubale to find the proper hardware.
Had to run registry clean up. It took me around 30 minutes.

That's a shame you had to RMA that RAM.
I am running G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3200C16D-16GTZR (3200 MHz running at 3400 MHz) on my Strix B450-F Gaming (BIOS 1201) and the RGB's work great with Aura for me.
Hopefully the new set will work for you.
