I have 2 GTX 670 DC2T and I remember when I tried to set up these cards in slot 1 and slot 5. It boots up and everything. All seems fine but, SLI cannot be enabled for anything but "Maximize 3D performance".
I believe this may be cause by the PCIe slots assigned to different CPUs.
It wasn't too much of an issue then as SLI Surround works if the second card is in the 3rd or 4th slot so that is what I left it at.
The problem now is that I am thinking about getting a 3rd card. The first 2 cards already occupy the first 4 PCIe slots. The 3rd card would need to go in slots 5 or 7.
Would there be a work around to this issue or is this intended by design?
