Hi I have an Asus V extreme and 3770k. I have found my 3770k to be stable at 1.280 Volts @4.6ghz using Manual voltage however I can not get the offset to work properly. The auto offset has my CPU boot at 1.480volts. So I go to offset mode put a "-" value and then enter .005(the minimum value allowed) which according to the guide should have my CPU at 1.475 volts 1.480-.005= 1.475(I know way too high) But when i do this I get BSOD. Why would my CPU BSOD on boot at 1.475 volts when I know for a fact its 100% stable at 1.28 volts when forcing manual voltage. I have followed all the Offset guides on this forum and have all the settings how ASUS recommends. I have tried changed the Vcore load line to all the settings possible but nothing helps. Any advice? Am i doing something wrong?
EDIT: I am running the latest BIOS.
EDIT 2: no idea what is going on but I swapped the sign from "-" to "+" and the default voltage is now 1.240 instead of 1.480 and adding .030 gets me the Vcore I need. I have no Idea why or how this makes sense but the voltage seems right for now.
