ASUS ROG Maximus Hero VI (BIOS 1902)

HI there,
I updated to the lastest BIOS to upgrade to Windows 11 for testing.
Since that, my PC is booting twice after a cold boot.

I read a lot that this is a normal behaviour but this is a bit annoying.
Is there a way to disable that?

What is happening?
After turning the Power on, the PC shuts down again for 2 sec and after that boots as usual.

I dont have this issues with the previous BIOS.

Cheers

Hello fresH229,

Are you turning off the psu when you shut down? If so, it's normal to do a double boot.

Hey,
yes but as I already wrote this double boot was not happening before the Bios update (with the same settings used) 😞
There must be some changes that this is happening now.
Correction: Its Bios Version 1903 🙂

Cheers

If your having problems with the new bios try flashing the old bios and just enable tpm and secure boot in the bios
