I have a request from ASUS, and I figure this is the best place to get an answer. One reason that I purchased the RIVE is the ROG iDirect feature that it has ADVERTISED. However, this program does not work with any of the latest IOS updates (I have tried two units using the IOS 5.01 and 5.10 as well as an ipad running 5.10) . The last time that ROG idirect was updated was in May 2011. There have been a lot of updates in the IOS operating system and that is why ROG idirect does not work. Yet however, it is advertised on the asus website with all ROG Extreme motherboards. Is this NOT false advertising if a company advertises a feature that in reality does NOT work. Being an iphone junkie, I literally use my iphone to run my dailyu agendas, weekly/ yearly planning and even to open my garage door and start my car. I wanted this MB so that I can use ROG idirect to overclock my system as well. All IOS programs are updated regularly with new IOS updates so that they are compatible, except ROG idirect which hasn't been updated in almost a year! Can someone from ASUS please tell me if this will be updated, and if there is no intention, please take ROG idirect OFF the list of features on the ASUS boards as if it is not updated to work with the OS, then it clearly is NOT a functional feature as it is advertised.

That is because it has not been updated in almost a year. Can we have this app updated! Or can it just be taken off the feature list of all ROG boards so nobody else will be upset or disappointed. ALL new or older iPhones, iPads, or iPod touches being sold, have the 5.0 operating system.
ASUS clearly has this advertised with ROG boards as a selling feature. This is clearly false advertising if the feature does NOT WORK with present technology, or if there is no intention to get this working with the boards that it is advertised with. ASUS clearly knows that this feature does not work with present technology, but continues to advertise it with ROG boards. The solution is so simple - get the program WORKING!!
