When i start up the computer theres about 30 seconds of completely black and no input after that i get about 15 second post and then it takes about 10 seconds to load windows 8.1. I have been having this problem for a while but it have been starting to really annoy me lately.
I'm a fairly experienced system builder but i cant seem to figure this one out so i need your guys help!
Full Specs:
3930k OC:ed to 4.80 Ghz
24GB of Corsair Vengence memory at @1600 Mhz
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Nvidia GTX 680 2gb Palit edition
Corsair HX1080
Please dont tell me my build is "bad" or "poorly balanced for gaming" i know that now but unfornately i was unaware when i built this pc since it was my first one.

Sometimes the debug display just shows 4F and refuses to boot up at all.

24GB of memory is not a proper kit the the R4E. Does the system properly boot with just one stick of ram installed?

What I would do is look at the two digit LED poster and make an note of the code that is displayed during the long pauses. List them here and we should be able to help you further.

Your system is struggling to find the graphic card. In the bios set default to Gen2 for the pCIe lane

Could you change the PCIe slot for the VGA and try again, but this time use only one stick of memory.

Please reset your system to defaults.

Save your OC profile as a precaution please. I would like to see if you have the same issue after a Clear CMOS and no changes made to the bios at all.

Hi Maximuz99,

have you had any luck? I'm having the exact same issue with my new ASUS Rampage IV BE Board....
I have already run Memtest 86+ for about 8 hours, no errors, so my RAM seems ok.
