i'm asking this for a friend of mine.
his system specs:
Intel i7 6700k
ASUS Pro Gaming z170i
Windows 10 x64 bit
the rest i forgot.
he has a system, da parts are co-picked by me. today he asked me to post here on his behalf about this setting:
XHCI Hand off : [enabled], [disabled].
BIOS defaults set it as [disabled].
he referred to his own motherboard manual, and the book suggested leaving it as disabled:
we did some research on our own and found out intel pretty much
recommended setting it as Enabled.
what he wanted to ask is:
- why was it set as Disabled by default? while google search results recommended setting is as Enabled.
- whether the Disabled setting had anything to do with OS not supporting it?
no siggy, saw stuff that made me sad.
