ASUS MVE WiFi/Bluetooth mPCIE module - is mine working correctly?

Hello,

When installing my board I installed also the mPCIE wifi/bt module (came with my ASUS MVE board). I am wondering if it is working correctly though ... drivers for Bluetooth and WiFi got installed without errors and I can see those devices in Device Manager.

Today took the effort to hook up antennas (both internal wiring and external magnetic devices) to WiFi module ... but my Windows 7 doesn't show me any WiFi networks at all ... perhaps I am doing something wrong? a hand please? 🙂

Thanks!

huh! never mind! I updated all drivers (was running those from CD) to latest versions from Asus downloads and re-installed AI Suite II with latest version and WiFi works correctly now 😄

However, it was my bad to not use properly in first place he he! I realized that after I fired up AI suite tool WiFi and selected Client mode, then it was all running perfect 😄
formerly I was just clicking Windows option in Networking and Sharing Center called "Manage Wireless Networks" and this one comes up empty (still) .. but once I either disconnect LAN connection (e.g. by disabling the adapter) or go through Ai tool WiFi Engine then the wifi networks are correctly listed as available and all works fine (and probably was before driver update hehe)

AWESOME to have a WiFi capable desktop! 😄

I really missed that option when my ISP was going down (rarely but sometimes happens), now I wil lbe able to tether to my android when needed with no hassle of using a laptop/netbook as a router to share such connection. it's a nice thing.
