Hy, I got a question about the motherboard, I rma'd the board and they couldn' repair or replace it because is out of stoc and is out of production and I can't find it anywhere so I looked online to a another motherboard and I found asus z97 pro gramer. How it will be this motherboard performance wise? Will I see a performance degradation between hero and this motherboard? I found online that in some benches pro gamer is better than hero and I can' believe it. What is the difference between these 2 boards? Beside sata express? How it will perform stoc or overclocked. It will be worst than hero? How about the vrm? Shoul I be worried about the performance of this board?

tell what is Your hero VII issue. Sometimes users cut some tracks on mobo while installing videocard you can check if everything ok there.

They already give my money back from the motherboard and no i haven't cut any track on mobo and i purchased the asus z97 pro but i am not very satisified with this board. But if i sell the processor it will be ok to go on skylake or it doesn't worth it?

I know this post is 6 days old but i will answer anyway.

Shakecip if you are not satisfied with the motherboard i would sell the cpu & mbo & mem and go skylake. Don't forget that you need to purchase DDR4 memory for Skylake.
