I just bought an Intel Core i7-5775C and to my surprise, when I try overclock the processor, the cores do not take the setting of the multiplier. I've the latest BIOS 3103. Any help with this?

Hi Siknett-515

Welcome to the ROG forum.

After changing the multiplier are you hitting F10 to save your settings?

Also be sure to set the AI overclock tuner to manual.

hi Siknett-515
Did you try to use Ai suite 3 for -overclocking?
It supports manually overclock and Auto

For Asus motherboards you need to update the BIOS(or reinstall if you have the latest already) using the 'BIOS_updater_for_5th_Gen_Intel_Core_Processors' tool or just try reinstalling it with Asus' while in Windows method. For MSI mobos you'll need the oldest version of Intel MEI. That being 11.0.0.11xx.
Might need both of those for Asus maybe.

Edit: the vga support page driver is needed to fully utilise Iris and I'm assuming L4 cache as well

Late reply but some might need it
