ASUS Maximus VI Impact motherboard!!!!!

im putting a mega rig into an original nintendo and ..... I POSSITIVELY HAVE TO HAVE THIS! Im in portland oregon, and PDX lan (one of the largest LAN parties on the west coast) starts on july 12th, Any chance these will be available by then?

I did have an asus P8z77-I deluxe in there with a 3770k but then I saw this and instantly ordered a 4770k, should be here in 2 days

stop posting that, that board ships from germany, and it doesnt even ship for 2-3 weeks cuzz the guy doesnt even have it in stock yet

I just built a monster gaming htpc (running solid at 4.6) and the only challenge I'm having with this board is the SPDIF.
I've got it feeding into a Denon receiver but I get no sound at all. Receiver is configured correctly. I can see the light is going through the toslink but there is zero sound. Anyone have any suggestions? It's not the end of the world since I'm using the nvidia sound via the hdmi cable, but would really like to take advantage of the sound card via optical....
Scouring the internet has revealed nothing...

The sound card is only there for the analogue outputs. So when you use optical the soundcard is bypassed and the digital signal is sent straight to your receiver. Your receiver does all the decoding. Same deal goes for the HDMI.

You will need to invest in some 3.5mm to RCA cables to hear the soundcard running. Plug them into the analogue inputs on your amp and you are away!
