Asus maximus vi formula with ssd m.2 samsung 970 evo 250gb v-nand

Hello, I know there is a thread about this exact topic except it's the 960 Evo (https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?91653-Asus-Maximus-VI-Formula-With-Ssd-M-2-Samsung-960-Evo...)

But I was wondering if this remains true with the Samsung 970 EVO 250 GB V-NAND M.2 and is there much of a difference between the two? And can I still use the Wifi through mPCIe Combo II whilst using it for the SSD?
