Asus maximus v gene q-code a0

Led giving the code A0 which means IDE initialization is started.
i didnt understand what does it mean and hw it can be stopped. computer woking slow

What is your storage drive(s)? (the thing from where you're running the OS)
Where it/they is/are connected? (which ports)

AO has been the default code for "alls well" since the 3 series bios's were released,i have the exact same code on my system,and no problems here.

A0 indicates that the hand over from the POST process has been completed and is as it should be.

I'm glad this visit cleared this issue up for me quickly. I just installed a new Asus motherboard, cpu and memory and got this code at the end of it all. It's good to know everything is alright.
