ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME-Z No Debug Light

Hello,

I just bought my new motherboard Maximus IV Extreme-z. After installing everything, I turned on the computer, but I have no lights on the debug console; only the start/reset button and the bios leds are on. All the fans start spinning for one second and then the computer goes off and on all over again.

This are my components:
Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME-Z
Processor: Intel i7-2600K 3.40GHZ LGA1155, 95W
PSU: Corsair TX850w

Thanks!

Are all the power connectors correctly installed as per the user manual?

I have had the same results when I did not press the 12v connector in correctly. Will check back in 10 mins.

Oh welcome. 🙂

When you power on does your graphic card fan spin up?

And you say the BIOS lights do you mean both or just one? Normally only one BIOS light will be on.

Yes, the graphic card fan spins, the same speed all the other fan on the pc are.

And I only have one BIOS led on.

Hi,

This is a video I just uploaded, it shows the problem I'm having with the motherboard.

My PSU 24 pin has the gap but it does have a second wire going in next to the open place.

apparently there different styles of 24pin connectors out. do u have another PSU laying around to test with? and maybe try ur gfx in another PCI-Express.

and try Clr CMOS see if that helps it boot or else there is the "mem ok" button see if that can maybe ur board boot if another psu don't help, and try ur memory in another slot.
