Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z No Boot!

Hello, and respect for all overlockers!

I really need your advice about my MB - Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z.

I`ve bought it few days on e-bay and have some problems:

1. When I first turn on my PC it starts only when I push "Start" button on the MB.
2. Then, there was few times it turns on with a standart power button on my Zalman.
3. After I try to turn off my PC, screen turns off but all FAN`s and and power supply, shuting down only after 3-6 minutes.
4. And now it does not start anymore. The ROG logo light up, "reset" button light up too, but "start" button still dark =(
5. If I push "Rog Connection Button" for a few seconds, there was a light only on ROG logo.

Please, sorry for my terrible english. I will be glad for any advices!

Welcome to the ROG forum.

If clearing the cmos doesn't help what code is the motherboard giving you?

Had a look at the video...English fine by the way;)and good cameo from gf's hand...

There is always the possibility you have an ebay lemon...did the seller say it worked?

Do you have the 8pin ATX fully populated..i.e 8pin connection not 4 pin?

Also when you are trying this do you have the two GPUs in there and if so are you connecting the EZ plug for extra GPU power?

Have you tried second BIOS chip?

The start button should be lighting up as well as all the others...

- Seller say it works 100%!

- I connect with 8-pin

- I`ve tried with different GPU, included with a card with no aditional power needed.

- Second bios chip? You mean to push little red button?) If so, than yes.

Hmm not sure what to suggest....maybe try another PSU on this board is only other thing...even though it works on another PC...?
