asus crosshair v formula z freeze using window 8.1 64bit

Hello

I have a problem which was my computer frequently freeze when playing games, surfing and anything that i was doing.

My rig

Asus crosshair v formula z
amd fx 8350
ram corsair vengence 1600 8GB
Window 8.1 64 bit

I already installed the latest bios into it but the result is still the same.

I never OC my system

What was the problem and how can it be fix?

Yea you and a few others and its driver issues, I'm staying with W7 till it gets sorted.

Some others here will sort you out who have 8.1. Just hang around.

I have used 8.1 with my system since day 1, the only time I had any issues was after installing the latest BIOS. It was no longer reading my RAM correctly and caused constant freezing. Once I got my RAM profile locked in, I have been stable again.
