Asus Crosshair V Formula Z Chipset Driver - 922.57 Megabytes???

Why is the chipset driver installation file from the Asus website 922.57 megabytes? I went to the AMD site for drivers and it was only 76.6 megabytes (Revision 12-10, released 10/22/2012, while the one from Asus was released 12/7/2012.)

My PC, which I just built on Friday and finally got it stabilized and Windows XP SP3 slipstream installed just a few hours ago, and I was anxious to just see something that would give me some idea of how much better this system is than my last one, so I decided to try Farmville 2 on Facebook, when suddenly my PC (Windows XP) suddenly rebooted itself. I just disabled Automatic Restart so I can see a bluescreen instead.

Anyway, I'm hoping I got the correct download from AMD for the Series 9 chipset:

Why is there such a huge difference in file size? Does the Asus download include everything that's on the DVD that came with the motherboard or something?

The package from Asus appears to be a all-in-one package for AMD chipset based boards covering different chipsets, in several different languages for all OS versions. It also includes video drivers and software for ATI integrated graphics. They probably list the exact same package for several different boards instead of making a specific package for each board. It however does not include all the drivers necessary as not all hardware on the board is AMD. You downloaded the correct package but it will not include USB 3.0 drivers as the controller on the board is not AMD.
