ASUS Crosshair V Formloa Z (Asus 7970 Matirx)

I bought a new computer 4 months* ago.

Processor: AMD3+ 3580 (£160)
Memory: 32GB Kinston Killer something (£260)
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z (£130)
Graphics: Club Radeon 7970 (£260)
PSU: G7 Power Extreme 880W (£120)
Case: Cooler Master Storm Skryker (£160)
Monitor: LG 22EA63

Total: (£1210)

Hard Drive: Crucial 512GB SSD (Which I already had, Windows 7 Preinstalled)

Everything was brand new... I was so exited as this was the first time I have spend any money on my computer in 5 years.

I plugged everything in together and I had nothing on my display... BLACK... NOTHING.

It was weird though because after 15min windows 7 login screen appeared, I could login and use windows normally. I just couln't see anything in BIOS.

It took me weeks to get my graphics card returned and get my money back.

After I had the refund I purchased a ASUS 7970 Matrix, which cost me an addiotional £110

Total now £1320........

Now I can see BIOS and windows in 1080p. Just theres a 1" gap around all of my screen.

My monitor is LG 22EA63... my monitor won't let me auto adjust.

When I set my graphics card to 1600 x 900 my monitor goes full screen.

I have used the DVI to HDI connector that came with the grapgics card to HDI.

Which the monitor takes, I have a 1" inch gap. Now been 4 months. I want to die!!!!!!!!!

Why is this happening? I just want 4x 1080p displays.

I was wanting 3x 22EA63 monitors and my HDMI 1080p projector to work.

Please help?!?!?!?!?

Well you have to use the CCC panel to fill your screen check the scaling options menu, the overscan should be set to 0% - you can adjust it to suite your screen.

Chino --- BIOS does occupy my full screen. windows doesn't. HD 7970 Matrix is supposed to best one of best graphics cards. My monitor supports 1080p and it displays 1080p with 1" black round edges

In the CCC window open the My Digital Flat Panels section then click on the Scaling Options then move the Overscan slider bar all way to the right it will work and your screen will be all set.

I have done what you suggested but it still doesnt remove the gap around the top and sides of the screen.
