Asus Crosshair formula Z unable to boot

Hello Everyone 😄

Suddenly the other day when I power on, the system starts going through q-codes testing everything and it sometimes ends up on error 66 with the boot device LED on or (especially if I used the Mem OK button) it passes 66 and gets stuck at 99 (Super I/O Initialization) with the boot device LED on. Nothing appears on screen and I cannot enter bios. My monitor detects no signal. have tried many solutions on different sites but none have worked so far, pls help!

Things i have tried:

Playing musical chairs with the RAM.
Playing musical chairs with only one stick of RAM.
Resetting the CMOS via button.
Resetting the CMOS via removing the battery
Using the Mem OK button.
Flash updating to the latest bios
and getting pissed off

thx for any answers 😄

Hi Sylvantiel and Welcome to ROG 😄

Before a proper assessment can be made you should list your complete system spec in your profile.
Your POST will not advance until the issue is resolved.

As your Boot Device LED is on, Check all cabling and connections to your HDD or SSD.
Qcode 99 (Super IO Initialization) is a large flag and could be a number of things.
If you can't resolve the issue and unable to get into Bios, do a CHKDSK with another system on your OS drive.
You can go direct to Bios using the direct key button on your MB. (page 1-25 in your manual) If successful, check boot settings and priority.

Please report back.
