What's model motherboard are you using?
I suggest you can upgrade the motherboard bios through the bios upgrade tool(into the bios manual-->tool-->EZ-Flash2)
Generally, when already upgrade to new version bios, bios can't downgrade to old version

thank you thats it ez tool, i have a CH4 Extreme also i just checked my other bios i already have the 3027 already there from a year ago
thats a big plus for me, so i can drop my new 8350 in there tomorrow and play around until my CH5-Z board comes to me.
at least the 3027 supports the newer cpus from what lots of people are doing.
thank you Sukara

I get so nervous when I think folks are going to update BIOS via the OS. I honestly wish that ASUS would remove that option from their suite of OS based applications.

Only update BIOS via the EZflash2 utility that is found in tools in the BIOS. 🙂
