I don't want to buy a new motherboard just to try out an M.2 SSD so I ordered the Asus Z170 Deluxe Hyper M.2 X4 mini PCI-e adapter. I hope it will work and boot.

Hi just to ask I have an Asus Maximus Formula VI and would like to ask if these are compatiable https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-950-PRO-Internal-MZ-V5P512BW/dp/B01639694M/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=146... and https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-SM951-512GB-solid-drives/dp/B015CWR4M2

Also my motherboard bios has already been updated to 1603 via BIOS Updater (NOT Flashback), would it still work if not how do I do this?

Thanks
