Wow, the Z87 Sabertooth is more than I could have expected so far.
I mentioned a problem I was having with the boot sequence in an earlier thread, and Praz mentioned it would need a UEFI update to fix it, guess what, the UEFI update from 10/30 fixed it.
I cannot tell you how satisfying this is from a customer service standpoint, I left ASUS behind 4-5 years ago because I felt the service and reliability was falling behind. My how times have changed.
This board is solid, the adaptive power setting in the UEFI are stunning, with just a bit of offset 0.1V I am able to overclock a Haswell to 4.5, and still take advantage of all of the power saving features this new chip has. Just stunning, I know this is not an out of the park overclock, but I clock for 24/7 use, not benching. I used to fold 24/7, or mine a bitcoin or 2, but now I have decided resources are too precious for that and powersaving is a huge plus for me.
I do not usually get to thrilled with PC parts, but this really has me jumping with joy.
You have brought a customer back, and without question will recommend this to people who ask what they should buy. I am a nurse R.N. and I have a fair amount of co-workers who have me build them HTPC's and such, if this is any indication of what I can expect, ASUS will be going back in my builds.
Thanks again Praz for getting the Bios fixed for me, Raja for being here, and ASUS for supporting some great staff, and a great product.
