Ai works very well

Man this Ai just gets better as you go. Best piece of overclocking software of all time I'd say. I'm surprised to say the least. The Ai really speeds of the process for finding stable over clocks and reverts back to pervious 5 way settings automatically after a failed stress test.

The Ai 5 way got me to 4.6Ghz without doing a thing and it passed Real Bench 2.2 all benchmarks and stress tested 2 hours under 80C most of the time using the EVGA 5 tube air/fan connected to the Ai fan control. I noticed the Ai added voltage on the VTTDDR Voltage which seemed to help.

Of course I had to try for more GHz despite I was at 1.3v-core already.

I worked with the offsets a bit, moved up the VTTDDR Voltage and went to 1.360 v-core at 4.7GHz for all cores. I skipped the easy image editing and went to the more stressful bench marks to save time. I passed them all at 4.7 which surprised me. Ran the stress test 1/2 hour as well. Was bumping into 100C during the hardest part of the test but no throttling at all and it's running stable as can be.

With more testing I've found that I could reduce the V-core preset from 1.3v to 1.280v for total of 1.305v at 4.6Ghz. Passed Real Bench video encoding and heavy multi tasking plus 15 minutes stress test without errors. So the Ai over volts the system to be on the safe side with the 5 way optimization, but testing indicated the V-core can be lowered.

I'm wondering why with the Ai you can't choose which OC profile to boot up with. It seems to revert to it's own 5 way settings each time you reboot no matter what. Of course I can always go into bios and use the manual OC settings for this but I wish there was a way to boot up with custom OC profiles using the Ai.

Can you please tell me if you ever had issues with AI Suite 3 because I always get stuck into the issue annoying of DipAwayMode.exe error. I refreshed Windows to install AI Suite 3 but here I go again with the same error, even I had to contact Asus tech but no solution. How can I get rid of this error? I have the same motherboard like yours with windows system Windows 8.1 Pro with Media!

I get nothing but problems from ANY asus software; I'm proud to say that at the moment I have no asus crapware in my system and everything is not just ok, it's much better that when I was trying to use what I found out to be just some marketing BS.
I get to 4.6 ghz with no more then 1.16v (if I remember correctly); I didn't test verry much, just some short benchmarks but that was stable enough for me, as I aim for lower temps and noise levels. You will get better results using bios settings, you just have to do some reading for that.

I found the AI Suite FanExpert to be quite useful to tune the fan profiles. Much easier than using the BIOS. I don't use AI suite for anything else. So the trick is to go into windows after you run FanEXpert to tune the fans and turn off/disable all ASUS services and scheduled tasks except the ASUS FanControlService. Has worked very well for me.

I don't think you want to run your CPU at 100ºC. Using anything but manual voltage for synthetic benchmarks is bad as the board itself will add more volts to the CPU resulting in dangerous voltage levels.
