AI Suite II - Weird Sensor Warnings

Hi,

I hope someone can tell me if this is something to be concerned about.

The AI Suite II Alerts me to the following from time to time:
Motherboard -1.0 Degrees
VCore - 0.0027

However when running CPUID HW Monitor, I never see the same results as above.

Also may be worth noting this issue has only occurred with the last two updates to AI Suite II, if I revert to the previous version the alerts no longer display and the logs are clean.

Thank you, Raja! Now, these are the infos I was missing for recommending using/not using Ai Suite...

This post has some stuff I can actually feed back on user preferences. Thanks.

I doubt the sensor reading stuff will ever be opened up fully for third party access, but GUI and uninstall stuff are things we can push HQ to work on. We just need well laid out posts with proper feedback and insight.

GUI and uninstaller should definitely be pushed. And if the GUI becomes "better", releasing an API library for sensor reading could have it's merits. Would allow programmers in the community (cough cough) to write a standalone or a plugin that expands functionality or uses specific features..etc I currently use a Rainmeter system monitor applet on my desktop to watch for core loads, memory usage, network traffic etc.. Would be cool if I could link to AI Suite and provide hardware sensor readout in a cool transparent and customizable desktop overlay with Rainmeter for example;)

In terms of the suite conflicting with other services/applications (Not playing nice with others) it would be a good idea to possible flag which services or applications cause problems with the AI Suite.

Well there's a general rule here. EVERY application that polls hardware sensors is incompatible with ANY OTHER that does the same. This is a golden rule. This is due to how polling works. Issues will arise no matter what if you run 2 together, from simple sensor misreadings to even slowdowns and hangs depending on what the applications are accessing and how. This was always the case but unfortunately it is not known by everyone.

Yes, it was always the case... and knew that... - but what I really didn't know, how to solve it once someone installed two of these applications in the same time (one being Ai Suite)... now I/we know! 🙂

So I took the plunge and installed AI SUITE II to see if I would have any issues & so far things are looking good. Let me know if someone wants me to test anything in particular. Could anyone chime in on the "memory leak" issues that were present previously. How would I go about checking this?

Ok, so according to the chart, Corsair Link and Probe II (since it is Probe II that gives the warnings) should not run together right ?

I use my Corsair Link to set the Fan RPM according to the MotherBoard CPU Socket, instead of using the pump temps for it, and I have seen other errors as for the +3.3V/+5V/+12V rails, should those be related to CLink as well - even though I do not have one of Corsair AXi PSUs ?

Also, so it is confirmed that those abnormal readings, are errors on the pooling instead of HW problems ?

Thanks in advance.

I too have had the same +3.3V, the VDDA @0 and a few others that I cant think of right now. I have AI suite and Corsair Link installed. I was wondering if the VDDA was hardware problems or if only conflicts from both software running together.
P.S.
I am running my FX 8350 @ 4.8 GHz so I was wondering if that could be part of it too. The overclock seems stable and have run it for a few weeks like this, just every so often getting VDDA warning and never shuts PC down.
