I get the error message "Asus Update does not support this model." What model/version do I need? Crosshair V Formula z 1901 UEFI

I DL'd the latest two versions. My formula z is the 140 watt board. Does that matter? There are two different versions of the AI Suite II. One is slightly different in the name than the other. One C_V_F-Z and the other is C5F-Z. Which is the right one?

What do you wish to update? Your bios or the AIsuite application?

I would strongly suggest that you do not use the OS to update your BIOS ever rather use a USB stick and the EZflash2 utility in the tools section of the bios.

Can you change the boot jpg with that utility?

I would like to update the BIOS with the My Logo tool, but can't get AI Suite to work. Is their a way to change the Boot graphics logo without using the AI Suite?

Did you install/update to AI Suite 2.04.01 before or after you updated to BIOS 1901? I've just updated to AI Suite 2.04.01 and I'm still using BIOS 1302 and AI Suite works just fine. I'm contemplating updating the BIOS to 1901 but I don't want AI Suite to stop working....

I had the 1801 before with the same problem. I do not think the problem with the AI Suite is related to the BIOS.

Can someone tell me why, especially in 2014 and with the latest version of AI Suite II no doubt, that it cannot uninstall itself properly? It leaves behind at least three system services which cause instability issues with my desktop. What gives? Any answer as to why?

Edit: yes, i know about the uninstall util, but should i really have to boot into safe mode to run a separate utility?

I fully agree with you. Sad to say you do have to boot to safe mode to remove it completely. Not how it should be at all.

The second AIsuite II which is the larger 159,06 MB version works with the latest BIOS I have tested it myself.
