Ai suite fan xpert 2 not working?

why can'tAI suite read chassi fan 3 and why can't i control OPT_fan 1-2 i want the auto-fan stop there too.

Hello Teletha

Have you run the fan tuning utility in ai suite? You will need to do this for it to recognize your fans, if I'm not mistaking cpu_opt 1 and 2 is controlled with the cpu fan header and all three fans will run at the same speed as the cpu fan.

ye i did the fan tuning. isn't only opt_cpu the one that is linked with the cpu fan? cause the other opt_fan are not near the cpu fan header

Well my board has the cpu and cpu_opt 1 and 2 headers too and are close to each other. I haven't officially tested them but I'm almost certain they will run at the speed of the cpu fan.

Are you able to see and control your fans in the bios?
