Hello!
I've been searching everywhere for a solution and I'm not sure if it's already a post about this, so please correct me if it is 🙂
My Motherboard is Asus Crossfire V Formula
Processor Phenom II X6 1090t Black Edition
980TI Geforce Graphic card
Dominator Ram
So first of all. I have had my computer for years and I've never had a problem like this. After an Windows 8.1 update the computer would just crash upon boot.
I get the error code: ACPI_BIOS_ERROR. I tried changing hard drives, installing windows over and I have tried all kinds of OS's.
Only Windows refuses to boot. Windows 7, Win 8, Win 8.1 and windows 10
All of them gives me the same boot error. Linux installs fine and boots perfectly. I have tried updating BIOS which went perfectly fine quick and without any hazzle.
Still getting the error.
I have tried reseting CMOS, boot with one ram, changing the CMOS battery. I have even taken everything out cleaned the motherboard with my toothbrush and looked through
every connector and pathway with a magnifier. This is litterally the first time I'm not able to solve a problem. I can't loose this motherboard because it's been with me for too long.
I've had it with me traveling and I just have to find a solution. I have tried changing the RAM, GRAPHIC CARD, HARD DRIVE, even processor, still same error when booting windows so it must be the motherboard.
