Hello, I’m writing here hoping that someone can help me and knows more than I do.
I left my PC on to download some things before going out, and the next day when I returned, the screen was frozen, and I had to reboot the PC.
Since then, I haven't had any video signal. I tried changing monitors, cables, and video inputs, but nothing worked. I have an Intel KF, so I couldn't even try to display video without a GPU. When I disassembled the PC, I noticed that the motherboard error code was A2. I searched a lot on the internet and tried everything suggested, thinking it was due to something else and not the GPU.
After an entire afternoon of failed attempts, I tried installing a different graphics card on the motherboard, and surprisingly, I got a video signal.
Now I wonder, could the A2 error related to the GPU indicate a specific issue with the card? I will try installing it in another working PC to see if it gives a video signal or not, but if it doesn't, is there anything that can be done to save my card?
P.S. The GPU is a 2080 Super.
Thanks.
