A2 Code Can't Get Into BIOS

Hello,
Recently my son had an accident and literally a single drop of condensation fell into my top vent and fried my PSU. Nothing else got wet at all and I promptly shut down my system. I replaced my PSU (exact same model) leaving all cables in place, checking everything for correct fitting. After replacement and a cleaning everything seems to be in working order however I now am getting an A2 Q Code. System will not let me go to BIOS and when pressing F1 to enter setup I get nothing.
Please help folks, you're my only hope!

Might as well flash to the latest version.

So you get display with onboard graphics?

Yes I do. Tested on monitor and tv via HDMI. Ok try flashing tomorrow and see what I get. Had a little trouble finding the place to download the BIOS and a correct procedure for using the flash BIOS without being able to actually access BIOS.

Here is the bios flashback guide.

It sounds like you have a gpu problem, double check you have the pcie cables connected correctly to the psu.

Thanks so much! GPU seemed fine add I got the exact same problem with the GPU installed. I got screen display either way. I'm hoping that the flash back helps.

OK, so just tried to flash a new BIOS. I wasn't sure if I needed to leave the USB drive in the slot and power up the system or not so I just left it in, just in case it needed to update something else afterwords. I powered on the system and the system turned off after maybe 2 seconds and rebooted. The system is now giving me a message that I can't completely read because of the placement on my screen. It says to insert the m5f.cap file on a HDD or USB and reset the system. If I have already done that I need to wait a moment and the sustem will restart itself. I know I have the file on the USB already so I am just leaving it alone to see if it hangs or not.

OK, just restarted because the system didn't do anything for a long time. I removed the USB stick and tried a reset. Nothing. Put it in a different slot and still the same message that I cannot read completely. I am getting a different Q Code now though. Says F9 now.

Sorry for the late response.

Don't start up your pc, just let the psu switch on and then do the bios flash.

So you mean flash the BIOS and the system should turn on by itself? Kinda confused. Can you post an order for me by chance of steps?
Thanks!
