A2 Code Can't Get Into BIOS

Hello,
Recently my son had an accident and literally a single drop of condensation fell into my top vent and fried my PSU. Nothing else got wet at all and I promptly shut down my system. I replaced my PSU (exact same model) leaving all cables in place, checking everything for correct fitting. After replacement and a cleaning everything seems to be in working order however I now am getting an A2 Q Code. System will not let me go to BIOS and when pressing F1 to enter setup I get nothing.
Please help folks, you're my only hope!

All right

Try removing all your drives including your optical drive and see if you can enter the bios.

OK, just removed all drives and nothing. Says press F1 to enter setup and recover BIOS settings. I press F1 and all I get is a blank screen.

EDIT: TY so much for helping so far!

All right

well at least something is happening now but we don't want a blank screen. Double check the pcie power cables to the gpu and psu again.

Is it still on code A2?

One sec, I'll check the power cables again. I'll try and redo the cables and see.

Nope, nothing changed. Just noticed my boot device LED is light also. Presumably because no boot device is available anymore? When I tried to change the cables, the system wouldn't even boot.

Ok well, had to take a break from it yesterday. I pulled everything off the board save for a2 mem. Still A2 code. Pulled the battery after resetting cmos again and still nothing. Starting to feel I'm well and truly screwed :'(

Yep, sure do. Even had it send the screen to my tv, lol. Worked fine screen wise. Only thing I can think is I might need to flash a new BIOS cause it keeps saying "to recover BIOS settings". No idea what BIOS I should download and flash though.
