which are you referring to when you say (RSt)???????????????????
why do you have to be so unclear? is it RSTe or IRST that i choose according to your post!? cause those are the exact choices you have in the Bios!

RIVE Has TRIM Support with SSDs in RAID 0!
I though i would let everyone know i installed asus's new bios today 4503 for the RIVE and everything went good
when windows booted up i ran "winsat formal" in the command prompt(admin) and let that run;
when i checked if trim was enabled it was. I optimized my ssds in raid0 they now have TRIM support!!!
This is on windows 8.1

With the latest 4701 bios (R4E), UEFI and ROM RST are up to date (12.7.0.1936), right?
Nodens
Yes. It also includes 8.1.51.1471 ME firmware.

Hello jblanc03.
I also purchased 2 840pro for RAID0.
I'm using IRST for my raid (I have 2 arrays, 2xSSD and 4xHDD)
Saying abut HDD array is quite easy, but with SSD you need IOPS. I'm not ready to give an answer about which rom would be faster, but IRST is more popular at least.
It would be nice if Nodens would clarify the subject.
BTW HiViz, they made a very nice RAID ROM switch in previous BIOS version, why is it gone?

Just like I did.
I use SSD array for OS, drivers and some soft like browser, skype etc, and some most often used games.
HDD array is data storage.
PS intel website seems to experience some issues,
