Here is my Rock solid 4.8GHz OC.

Max Temps (LinX 0.64 Max Memory Stress 30min)

Trying to reach 5.0/5.2GHz, no success, need help. I've managed to get 5.0GHz, but max temps was 81-82C.

Yeah that makes sense to me, considering that the CPU will be maxing out all cores and threads.

I am not a big fan of prolonged Prime or similar stress tests but based on that information I would suggest in normal use (not folding) you will not go over 75'c.

Nice CPU by the way. And very nice voltages.

I've managed to get 4.8GHz (as you can see in my first post), with VCore +0.020 Offset mode and LLC Medium, the VCore voltage on stress (30min of LinX), was 1.400V (very nice), and max temps below 70C (me happy :D), following the same patron I've raised the multi to 50, VCore to +0.050, LLC Medium, system crash after 5min of LinX, raised again the VCore to +0.100, same thing system crash, lower the VCore to +0.075 LLC High, test (LinX 30min), pass with max temps (two cores 80C, 81C, rest of the cores below 80C), max VCore (on stress), was 1.488V, should I leave it as is, or could I change something to lower the temps (all other settings was the same as for 4.8GHz). Suppose with this temps and VCore can't reach 5.2GHz, Right?

I think what you have reached is that tipping point, where the amount the voltage needed to make the next step is exponential and way out of proportion for the extra 200MHz. I would stay where you are if that was my CPU, and a very nice CPU as I said.

Yeah, I think that to. Just to clarified, to stay at 4.8 o 5.0?

If your max temp after 30 minutes of LinX was 80c you should be fine. You'll never generate that much heat using anything short of LinX, IBT, or Prime95, so in the real world that 80c will never be an issue.

To be on the safe side, though, if I were you I'd use that 5.0ghz oc for benching and go with your 4.8ghz oc for daily use. Less risk of burning out that fancy expensive cpu. 🙂

Nicely done, and welcome to the ROG forums 🙂

My view is stay at 4.8 for 24/7 use. If you feel like playing with in the ROG RealBench league then up your CPU for a few short bursts.

Yeah even just keep it at 4.8, I wanna see what a score on RealBench with 64GB RAM looks like

Just like I was tought, to stay at 4.8 for 24/7 and 5.0 for benchs. Thanks guys.
PS. What is RealBench league?
