Then please test with the other GPU. If the 970 GTX runs at x16, the 1080 gtx has a problem or is defective.

If you have the top m.2 slot occupied, it shares bandwidth with the GPU slot so that might be why?

I tried with another video card but it gives the same problem.
My motherboard don't have m.2 slot.. If i use second slot the videocard run on 16x with nf200..
it could be a bios problem?

my motherboard is pcie 2.0 but videocard is pcie 3.0.. could this be the problem?

No, that's not the problem, as PCIe is downwards compatible. In addition, it is correctly recognized in GPU_Z as x16 3.0, but under load it is only connected with x8 2.0. 2.0 because the slot is PCIe 2.0. I think the problem is the motherboard, as your test with a GTX 970 was no different.

when I play the data bandwidth goes to maximum (8gb). I tested it on two identical motherboards..
