0x000007E on MVF at shutdown

This has been happening for a few weeks now and everytime I think I have gotten it under control it does it again. It happens at least 1 time a day when I shutdown. Seems like it is more likely to do it if it has been powered up for a while. I think 0x000007e is related to usb. Anyone have any ideas?

The procedure:

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Fix

1. Goto http://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb-win32/files/libusb-win32-releases/1.2.5.0/
2. Extract libusb-win32-bin-1.2.4.9 > BIN > AMD64 > libusb0.sys and libusb0.dll
3. Place libusb0.sys in c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
4. Place libusb0.dll in c:\WINDOWS\system32
5. Restart (It will bsod the first restart as the old drivers are loaded) Restart again and test

I am assuming that your error is this one.

Yes it is. I actually read that forum where that fix was listed(HP laptop). I wasn't sure if the drivers/files on tat link would still apply @ amd. I will give it a shot. and yeah, minidumps are enabled. it says refer to memory.dmp, but what do I open it with?
