7F if you google it means corrupt data. Alot of people point the finger at the HDD for this code.

In my experience 7F can often mean RAM instability, either in timings or voltages. This includes VCCSA and VTT on the X79 platfrom. I would try defaulting bios enabling XMP and mem testing initially. After this you may have to play with voltages for Window stability with CPU overclock added.

thanks for the response

I try to raise everything to do with the ram and see if it comes back

I'll keep you updated

Dont raise the settings too much just a step at a time. Stay below 1.2 on VTT and VCCSA. DDR3 1.65v

I have also found Vcore can help in the odd instance too. Remember the GPU lanes are controlled by the CPU these days so your hammering the CPU when gaming with 680's in SLI.

I did a scandisk
Then I increased CPU-V-core, VTT, VCCSA and dram voltage

for now I have not had that kind of bsod.

But I think this bios 1205 request to increase a little all V

When you change Bios you always need to retest your settings anyway. They almost universally change.

If you have a stable system and a new bios does not offer something you absolutely must have interms of features or compatability then don't update is always my advise.
