Who wants from ROG a RTX 3090 or 3080 with water cooling block ??

Dear Asus ROG Community

Unfortunately it's been so long since Asus ROG released the GTX 1080 TI Poseidon. I would wish that Asus brings a RTX 3090 or a 3080 on the market which has a

water cooling. Of course with lots of RGB 🙂

Asus has for those who don't like RGB the RTX 3090 Strix which looks boring for my taste.

I don't understand why the new RTX graphics cards produce so much heat that a watercooling model is not available right away.

I am very curious about your opinions

Yes, the water cooling block is very nice really ! But I hope that Asus will bring out another water cooling solution.

Looking at he new Asus 30-series model names listed on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website,.. is the mention of the new EK and KO series.

Neither of these codenames have been used by Asus before, it's possible that these could be watercooled variants, but we won't know until Asus officially announces what it has in store. https://portal.eaeunion.org/sites/odata/_layouts/15/Portal.EEC.Registry.UI/DisplayForm.aspx?ItemId=7...

Sorry, the Eurasian Economic Commission location is Moscow, Russia,.. and working language for administration is Russian.

VideoCards on 6th Sep 2020 published an article using EEC as source in English. https://videocardz.com/newz/gigabyte-preparing-aorus-wb-and-vision-rtx-30-series-asus-to-launch-turb...

Ah I see, thank you.
I just don't understand why they would wait to announce/release a Poseidon model. Why not release it at the same time as the others?
I did just order a 3080 strix, but there's a long delivery time so if Poseidon announce I can always change the order...

Here you go, Asus today officially unveils it's new EKWB series cards with preinstalled water blocks. https://videocardz.com/newz/asus-unveils-geforce-rtx-3070-ekwb-with-12-pin-power-connector

Thanks,

I unfortunately saw it a couple of weeks ago from EKs site and I'm not sure I'm impressed, It looks like it's just a reference card with preinstalled waterblock. I was hoping it would be more poweful than that. I mean regarding clockspeeds and so on. 2 power connects vs Strix 3 power connectors.
So it would depend on how well it performs vs a watercooled strix
The 1080Ti Poseidon had a slightly clock than 1080Ti Strix for example.

+1 not impressed with the design, no backplate.

I would preferer not having a 12-pin plug on the front of block, would have liked to see inlet/outlet on the front and the 12-pin on the right side, since they are basically building the PCB for the card those changes would seem posable.

It kinda has a backplate.
Only the 3070 has the 12 pin.

Anyway, I'm waiting for my 3080 Strix OC to arrive, and have ordered blocks from EK, hopefully not much longer.

Edit: Plus I prefer the looks of Poseidon card with beefier looks and fans etc
