but any stress i do it will crash it

any ideas or help?

Hello @renzosm

Might want to list your full system specs. Please ensure the 12VHPWR power connector/adaptor is fully inserted into the GPU.

Hi, thanks for the reply

my specs: 13900k / ROG Z790 E WIFI / ROG TUF RTX 4090

and regarding this " Please ensure the 12VHPWR power connector/adaptor is fully inserted into the GPU" it is I have checked and all is good. i use the original one that came in the box.

i have an old card (AMD 6800xt red devil) I have try that and it works fine, stress test and everything

Is it connected to a PSU? Because you haven't listed it 😂

Power is quite important in this case!

Lol yes! Using the original cable that came with the card

And the power supply is a EVGA 1000 g5

Ok, no worries.

1. Clear CMOS

2. Do not enable XMP/EXPO profiles.

The 4090 will tax other subsystems harder due to the amount of data being processed at higher frames. Need to rule out memory instability.

If the system still exhibits the crashing at Optimised Defaults, then further troubleshooting is needed.

I have

clear CMOS

did not enable xmp/expo profiles

and still does the same as soon as I stress test or launch a game after e few second or minute my screen will go black/crashes

I have to hard reset/turn of on pc

Hi @renzosm

Did you manage to get any further with this? Consider flashing the BIOS to 2202 and enabling the Intel Base Profile to see if this helps.
