Superior Compatibility by Combining ASUS Mobo and Graphics Options?

Black4
Level 8
In general, would it be safe to assum a superior level of compatibility if I were to select an ASUS graphics card to go with my GENE-Z/Gen3 mainboard, over other industry graphics card options?

Is it reasonable that each R-O-G graphics card would be tested for compatibility with each compatible mainboard option possible?

Honestly incompatibilities are very rare these days. Being an ROG forum we'll encourage you to go that route but I'd say you are safe choosing whatever fits your needs/style. If by some rare fluke you did have problems then you could always exchange it for a different brand/model anyway.

PCI-Express is an industry standard and the drivers are controlled by Nvidia and Intel. Beyond that, features like VGA Hotwire should integrate better with the Rampage IV Extreme but there's nothing that excludes combinations of other cards and boards.

Pick ASUS because it give you the features and price point that you want. But any vendors card will work.
