When I got my first Strix 970 in early November, I remember there's a clear plastic film over the entire backplate and the two Asus logos. It got loud coil whine so I RMA it and got another one from the retailer in mid December. This one is missing the plastic films, so I suspected it was used so I returned it and order other one. Same thing, the film is missing, is Asus phasing out the film to increase production rate...or am I not reviving a new card. Thanks for your advice.
