Strange behavor Asus Strix 1080GTX

Hi
Sometimes my Card does clock-up the GPU when i start Paint or Acdsee or any Video editing Software!

And when i leave these Software the card is still on high clock!! 😕
When i enter any of these Porgrams i see a Glitch for a millisec.


Its very Strange and when i uninstall und reinstall the Graphic Driver the Problem is gone for a While...sometimes for days and then it comes back!!
I think all these Behavor wasnt bevor the Redstone update of Windows 10 but im not sure!
I hope there is a Solution! Google didnt help!

Hi zocker

When you open programs it's normal for the boost clock to ramp up but it comes back down.

According to GPU Tweak your gpu is downclocking.

The Problem is, that sometimes the Clock runs still High after i closed all Programms and sometimes it clocks down to idle (200mhz)!

Your GPU is working as it should. There's nothing to worry about.

Yes youre right, the GPU is working fine, i can Play Games the whole Day without Issues...but whats about the Glitch?!

If you're only getting the glitch while in those programs, then they probably are the culprits.
