Sli not working on some games

Hi hope someone can help i just bought a second Asus gtx770 card and install it into pc now i set up Sli and started playing game and found one card was running hotter then other about 20 diff then other so i swap cards same thing well after may hours i have now found out that Sli is not working on most of my games

ok now if i play Dying light Sli works and temp within 5 of each other so i did some testing and found if i change the Sli rendering mode i can get all games to run Sli now here the thing if i look in setting in Nvidia setting there is no NVIDIA recommend SLI but if i look in program setting for Dying light and pick use global setting recommended i get NVIDIA recommend SLI but only for that game

i have done a clean install of latest driver and a older one but same thing has any one had this and is there a fix
also gpu bios are a diff but update say evey thing is upto date

Try setting the SLI rendering mode to Use Global setting (Nvidia Recommended), then go to the global tab and set Nvidia recommended there too.

With the new patch far cry 4 is now a buggy game for me but should still work in SLI mode.

To see if SLI is now working with Far Cry 4 click 3D settings at the very top and put a checkmark beside " Show SLI Visual Indicator". Once in Far Cry 4 you should see a thick vertical green line on the left showing SLI is working.

Global setting has no affect have show sli visual turned on and only way to get it to show is have Sli rendering mode to Force alte frame rendering 2 then i get green bars it like the driver has not been updated for these games if i tick games not on my PC i can go into game setting and see Sli mode
