ROG STRIX RTX 3090 GPU Clock has a fixed value of 1860MHz

Hi,

As I said in the older post:
https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/nvidia-graphics-cards/rtx-3090-weird-gpu-clock-variations/td-p/972305

Screenshot 2024-02-13 082511.png

It happened again that after an update or I don't know exactly, the video card stays at a fixed value of 1860 Mhz in idle, without using any program. This value increases in some more demanding games, but never decreases...

Do you have any idea why and if there is a problem?

Thank you!

Try changing the Power Management profile within the NVIDIA Control Panel and see if that makes any impact. You may want to try reinstalling GPUT III also.

Hi @psycnex What monitors are connected to the system? Check Task Manager to see what's utilising the GPU, if anything.

Sorry for late reply. After uninstalling the old version of GPUT III and installed the latest version the frequency has returned to normal values in idle.

Thank you!
