tge gpu should be pcie 4.0 16 but it5 says it s pcie 4.0 8.... in the gpu tweak3 on nvidia contro panel in windows on speccy.... doe s anybody have the answer for this??

you have m2 ssd inside under the cpu? look with gpu z your lanes

yes i have all 5 discs installed. one 5gen above the gpu andfour 4gen under the gpu. all slots are full. what does that mean? the motherboard is asus strix z790-e with wi-fi. can you explain to me how and what does that mean?

Hi domzag
The m.2 Slot 2.1 Gen.5 shares the lane with the GPU. If it only happens on a Gen5 m.2 or in general like on the z690 boards idk.
But most likely u have to remove the m.2 in the 2.1 Slot (under the CPU / above the GPU).
Check ur MB handbook about shared lanes under Gen5.
