ROG Asus Astral 5090 LC - Magnetic Fan Connector does not say seated properly

Hello.

As many people has said before the magentic fan connector just randomly disconnects without having done anything to it.

Asus has yet to respond to this issue and what they will do to fix it. 

I have gotten this issue aswell. Any solution that is not toally DIY.

Hi there, if you’re under warranty, get it serviced. If you’re out of warranty, you can still get a paid repair from ASUS or try a DIY solution.

If you are still under warranty, open a warranty/RMA case with ASUS and request a repair or a permanent fix of the magnetic fan connector. Include photos/videos showing the issue and note that it’s intermittent.

If you already opened an RMA case with ASUS and received no response, make sure to send an email as well, so you have timestamped proof that you contacted them within the warranty period and received no response.

Present this evidence to a lawyer and let him work on this.

OR

If under warranty and you don’t mind getting your money back, go to the retail shop where you bought it and demand a refund for a defective product. If they start giving you a hard time, hire a lawyer and let him deal with it.
