As title - I have to switch my Lane 1 to PCI-E 4.0 for it to work, otherwise it stutters in Windows upon bootup and automatically reboots the computer shortly after. CPU is 9800X3D, latest bios on the motherboard and latest Nvidia driver for the ROG Astral RTX5090. Is that an Nvidia driver problem or a motherboard bios problem? I am not complaining given that the performance difference between PCIE 4.0 and 5.0 is negligible, but still curious whether I can eventually get full PCI-E 5.0 support for the card. Fwiw I can run PCI-E 5.0 NVME SSD at full speed on the motherboard without problem.

Hi @googleli
Whilst GEN 5.0 offers very little uplift at all, the GPU should still operate without abnormal behaviour. If the GPU does not have issues outside of GEN 5.0, it might be best to report them to MSI and NVIDIA initially.
Have you tried returning to defaults (Clear CMOS)? Remove any overclocking, including EXPO/XMP memory overclocking profiles.
