Req: information on Asus ProArt 4080 Super speed, mine seems odd

I recently put together a SFF PC using an Asus Strix B650E-I, an Asus Loki 1000W PSU and an Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super. The system is built into a Coolermaster NR200P, with an AMD 7800X3D cooled with a Noctua D12L.

I've installed Windows 10 and ran some tests. Pretty low noise and cool.

It's been a while since I used an Nvidia card (since before the GTX 1000 series). Asus' AMD GPUs are too big though. 😅

When pushing the GPU with Furmark, monitoring with HWinfo or Afterburner, I notice that the RTX 4080 Super maxes out at around 1785 MHz, sometimes 1800 MHz. Temps never reach 80C, usually hover around 75C. Voltage reported by Afterburner is 900mV.

This does not feel right. From what I can find online, the normal boost clock of a 4080S should be around 2500 with a base clock of around 2295 MHz. And it should run hotter and with more power consumption.

Is this the normal result for a ProArt model? Does anyone have this card too and can tell me their results?

I can go and OC this, but I feel for stock 4080 performance, I shouldn't have to. I checked the manual but there's no 'silent' bios switch I can find, can't see it on the card either. Any setting in the mainboard bios that could affect this, if it's not normal?

Thanks!

Update: I tried removing and re-installing all drivers. Chipset, even network, and of course Nvidia. No joy.

Finally, I just wiped the entire PC drive, updated the BIOS to the latest (a few weeks old I believe), re-installed Windows 10, and now it finally runs what I would call normally. Whether this was Windows 10 (which was a new clean install to begin with) or the BIOS I can't say, as I was in a hurry to get this up and running, but maybe this helps others with similar issues.
