Received a physically broken card from ASUS RMA

So, I had bought a ASUS Poseidon Platinum GTX 980 Ti in late March with it being delivered to my house from Amazon on March 26th. I immediately was having issues. This card was being dropped in to an SLI rig with an identical card. Once SLI was turned on I couldn't keep windows stable. After going in to safe mode and with DDU attempting the previous five drivers to no avail. I then tested just the new card. It was the culprit. Tested in a spare rig, BSOD (DPC_Watchdog_violation) before windows booted. Please note this is a card that has watercooling block built in to it. I only used air as I was wanting to make sure the card worked before I went and re ran my loop to it.
So I submit for an RMA from Asus as Amazon was out of stock and could only offer me a refund. I don't want a refund I want this card to work. I submit for the RMA and receive the authorization on the 10th. I shipped it out on the 11th. Packed well in the original box with the accessories removed as I know they wouldn't return those.
I finally received the replacement card (new SN, seems the original was indeed DOA) on the 5/1 and I am greeted to a watercooling fitting that has been completely sheared off.

I call ASUS immediately and tell them they sent a broken part. The missing piece was no where in the box, telling me that who ever "QC'd" this was negligent. If it had broken in shipping the broken piece would have been still in the box. They have me send pictures in to an e-mail address to open a new case. I'm told I will hear a response in 24-48 hours.
So today (5/5) I call back to ASUS to ask for a status update. Gentleman on the phone asks for my case number and says "I'll place you on hold as I gather details". Was left on hold for over an hour then the automated system disconnected me.
I just want what I paid for. I know this is a "first world problem" but I'm about to lose my mind and the only thing I could do to not scream at someone was write this post. I just want the card I paid for over a month ago. Hell I'd even be willing to just buy a new cooler just to replace the broken one they gave me.
I've been an ASUS fan for years. My current rig is literally an ROG theme'd build. I even bought the silly ROG SLI bridge just so it would ascetically match what I have.

TL:DR Bought a 980ti that ended up DOA, RMA'd received a card with physical damage

Sorry to hear about your problem dude, that really does suck big time! Although I don't think it being a first world problem is all that bad, you deserve the product you have paid for! Plain and simple.

Hope you get this sorted out
